The primary mission of Sedesco's Sourcing & Business Development division supports the needs of sales and marketing distribution in Turkey. Currently, Sedesco actively supplies consumer goods, cosmetics, personal care products, household goods, baby products, snacks and accessories to retail stores operating under the name Gratis. Gratis opened their first store in Istanbul in July 2009 and is one of Turkey’s fastest growing retail enterprise.
The mission of our division is to globally source consumer products in the categories of personal care, health and beauty aids, gifts and general merchandise. In addition to branded products, we are aggressively developing private label programs for Gratis.
As of spring 2011, Gratis operates more than 40 locations in Istanbul's most fashionable street locations and upscale shopping malls. The newest locations are approximately 300 square meters (3,300 square feet).
Operating from Sedesco’s New York headquarters, Sourcing & Business Development team travels the world looking for products that are not readily found in the Turkish marketplace. Our objective is to help Gratis differentiate itself from other retailers in Turkey.
